Meet Kimberly
Kimberly is one of the owners of Jiinx Grooming and Pet Services.
Kimberly graduated in 2022 from Elite Dog Grooming Academy with some of the highest grades in her class. Kimberly has completed many pet first aid courses along with having a medical background in the health care field.
As a young child, Kimberly would often be found reading books on dog breeds, attending dog shows or training her family pets.
As a adult, she volunteered her time with AARCS and other rescues to provide foster care for hard-to-place dogs. In the past, she has worked as a dog walker, trainer and a dog daycare attendant.
This has given her experience with many different personality traits and behavioral concerns that pets might have.
Meet Lynn
When she’s not working her full time job, managing the family budget or being a typical mom taxi, Lynn can be found at the salon.
From excel spreadsheets and calculating taxes to bathing and drying dogs, Lynn does it all.
Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Lynn followed her heart to Nova Scotia in 2020 during the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic. With her many years of management and financial experience, she takes on a lot of the back-end of the business. Lynn has a soft spot for Australian Shepherds, which she has previously owned, and enjoys spending her spare time staying active.
Kinsley
Originally from Labrador, Kinsley moved to Nova Scotia in August 2021 to attend Dalhousie University. Since then she has completed a Bachelor of Science with a major in Bio veterinary Science and a certificate in animal welfare. She is also certified by St. John Ambulance in pet first aid.
Growing up, Kinsley always had a love for animals, specially dogs and horses, and would routinely check out books about them from the library. Kinsley has volunteered time in vet clinics as a kennel attendant and assistant. Kinsley has a soft spot for poodles, cocker spaniels, and terriers of all sorts. Kinsley loves working at Jiinx and is now apprenticing under Kimberly to become a groomer.
